What actually stays
Revenue, cost of goods, shipping + fees, profit, items sold and inventory value for the selected year, plus profit month by month – loss months included.
Chrome extension for private resellers
Schatulle keeps purchases, sales, costs and stock for the items you sell on Vinted, Kleinanzeigen and eBay.de in one place. See what actually stays – and how close you are to the DAC7 reporting thresholds on each platform.
Free for up to 25 items · no account · your data stays in your browser
How it works
Schatulle works with your numbers. It does not read data from Vinted, Kleinanzeigen or eBay – you add items yourself or bring them in from a CSV file.
Install Schatulle from the Chrome Web Store. The dashboard opens right away; no account needed.
Enter title, platform, purchase date and price. When it sells, add sale price, shipping and fees. Or review and import a CSV file.
Profit, inventory value and DAC7 counters per platform update instantly. At year end, export the booking list as CSV.
Features
From the first purchase to the final sale – in euros, to the cent.
Revenue, cost of goods, shipping + fees, profit, items sold and inventory value for the selected year, plus profit month by month – loss months included.
Enter purchase price, sale price, shipping and fees and see the net profit instantly. A quick calculation for a clearer decision.
Sales and revenue counters per platform and calendar year, measured against 30 sales and €2,000, with a heads-up as you get close.
Compares your recorded revenue with €25,000 for the previous year and €100,000 for the current year. Revenue alone does not decide eligibility – Schatulle says so.
All income and expenses of the year as a plain CSV (semicolon, UTF-8 with BOM): date, type, platform, description, amount. Deliberately simple – not a DATEV format.
CSV import with a preview before anything is added. A JSON backup of all items and settings to take with you and restore.
Items and settings live in your browser’s storage. Only a Pro licence key is ever checked – nothing else leaves your device.
Switch language and appearance, set a default platform for new items, and glance at this year’s profit in the compact popup.
Schatulle counts only what you record. It replaces neither the platform’s report nor professional tax advice.
DAC7 in brief
From the 2023 reporting period, digital platforms must report certain sellers to Germany’s Federal Central Tax Office (BZSt) under the Platform Tax Transparency Act (PStTG), Germany’s implementation of EU Directive 2021/514 (“DAC7”).
For the sale of goods, you are exempt from reporting if, on the same platform in a calendar year, you made fewer than 30 sales and received less than €2,000. Once either threshold is reached, the platform reports your data – by 31 January of the following year – and tells you about it.
Schatulle counts your recorded sales and revenue per platform and year so a report does not take you by surprise. Whether your sales matter for tax depends on your individual situation.

FAQ
No. Schatulle does not access your platform accounts. You add items yourself or import a CSV file with the columns title, platform, buyDate, buyCost, soldDate, salePrice, shipping and fees.
In your browser’s local storage on this device. We have no access to it. For backups, download a JSON backup; your licence key is not included.
Not automatically. The DAC7 report is the platform’s obligation and creates no new tax. According to the German tax authorities, occasionally selling everyday personal items is not taxable, whereas regularly buying goods to resell them at a profit is usually a commercial activity. The tax office decides case by case. Schatulle offers guidance, not tax advice.
No. It is a plain CSV list of all income and expenses of the year that your tax adviser can work with. It is not a DATEV batch file.
You can’t add or import more items until you remove some or activate Pro. All existing data stays visible and exportable.
After purchasing through Dodo Payments you receive a licence key by email and enter it in Schatulle. The extension checks the key with our server at most once a day and sends only the key. Without a connection, Pro stays active for up to 14 days after the last successful check.
The subscription runs through Dodo Payments. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. See the terms and withdrawal & refunds (German).
